PLEASE NOTE: The weather can be very unpredictable on the lake. When there any concerns over the weather, we leave this decision up to the captain on duty who puts the safety of our tour passengers first! Parking can be very difficult in the village, so PLEASE leave yourself ample time to find a spot and still arrive on time for your tour.

Q. HOW LONG IS THE TOUR?
A. 75 minutes!

Q. WHAT IF I WANT TO GO LONGER?
A. If you want to extend your tour time, you will have the option to enjoy the ride and double your time by booking the slot immediately before or after yours in order to create two back-to-back tours.

Q. WHAT DAYS DO YOU OPERATE?
A. We are open for booking online! We will be operating 7 days a week, from 11 am to 8 pm, June through mid September. If you wish to book a tour on another day outside of our general schedule, please contact us directly.

Q. HOW CAN I CHECK AVAILABILITY?
A. Please click on, “Book a Tour” at the top of the page to check available dates and times.

Q. HOW FAST DOES THE TIKI BOAT GO?
A. It’s a slow ride and has a cruising speed at around 4 to 6 mph.

Q. HOW MANY RIDERS CAN WE BRING?
A. Max capacity currently is 12 people.

Q. WHAT IF I HAVE LESS THAN 12, DOES THE PRICING CHANGE?
A. Pricing is charged per person!

Q. ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
A. Yes! We have life preservers for 50lbs and up (for up to 3 children). If the child is 50lbs or less you must provide your own life preserver for them.

Q. IS THERE A WEIGHT RESTRICTION?
A. The weight restriction is 270 per person.

Q. CAN I PAY ON THE DAY OF THE TOUR?
A. Yes, we do allow walk-up bookings and payment. Keep in mind that we do not guarantee there will be walk-up availability. When pre-booking, you must pay at the time of booking. You cannot reserve online and pay upon arrival.

Q. WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES?
A. Cancellations with a 72 hour advance notice will result in no charge. Canceling your reservation after the 72 hour window is non-refundable unless TIKI TOURS has to cancel the reservation.  Unfortunately, this includes arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, arriving late, exceeding the weight limit, forgetting your ID, no shows, personal emergencies or personal mishaps. If TIKI TOURS has to cancel the reservation due to inclement weather or any other reason, you may reschedule or receive a refund. Weather cancellations are determined only by TIKI TOURS. Weather must be inclement at our location at your specific scheduled time.  No exceptions. Thank you for understanding our policy.

Q. DO YOUR BOATS OPERATE IN THE RAIN?
A. We do operate in LIGHT rain as the tiki boats are covered. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions.

Q. WHERE DOES THE TOUR START/END?
A. 3 Montcalm St. Located at the dock behind The Beach Club of Lake George. We are NOT affiliated with the beach club and they cannot help direct you. Please wait patiently for the captain to come assist you for your tour time.

Q. WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
A. Please plan to be at least 15 minutes early for your tour! Parking can be difficult so PLEASE leave ample time for your party to find parking and make it down to the dock for disembarkment. We will not wait if you are late.

Q. DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINK?
A. We do not provide any food or drink, however, you may bring your own and use the provided cooler, cups and ice onboard the boat.

Q. CAN I BRING MY DOG?
A. We love dogs, as long as you are on a private charter and fido has a pfd.

Q. CAN WE GO SWIMMING?
A. Unfortunately, you can not swim off of the boat.

Q. CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC ONBOARD?
A. Yes, we do have bluetooth-capable stereo systems that can sync to your phone and choice of music.

Q. WHO IS MY CAPTAIN?
A. All our Captains have been vetted, trained and strategically chosen based on their experience with boating and knowledge of the Lake. Our Captains hold a Joint Pilot and Engineer’s license which is issued by the State of New York and required to charter a vessel such as the tiki boat.

Q. SHOULD I TIP MY CAPTAIN?
A. Our Captains do work for tips, so gratuity is appreciated.

Q. WHAT IS THE BEHAVIORAL CODE OF CONDUCT?
A. You are responsible for staying under control and abiding by our behavioral agreement. If the Captain determines your behavior is inappropriate you will be removed from the tour without refund and appropriate measures will be taken. 

Q. IS THERE A BATHROOM ONBOARD?
A. There is a private bathroom facility onboard.

Q. ARE THERE AVAILABLE LIFE JACKETS ON BOARD?
A. Yes, there is a type 1 PFD for every passenger.
